DUST DEMON

Tack Lock  Controls Erosion, Dust & Runoff on Job Sites

Exclusively at Greenstone Supply

Keeping soil in place is one of the biggest challenges on active job sites. Once soil is disturbed, wind, traffic, and rain can quickly create erosion, runoff, dust, and added cleanup.

Tack Lock is designed to address those challenges by binding soil in place while improving stormwater runoff clarity and overall soil performance. It can be used across a wide range of construction, grading, utility, mining, and vegetation establishment projects.

What is Tack Lock
Tack Lock is a powerful, environmentally friendly polymer used to reduce erosion and stabilize exposed soil. By binding soil particles together, it helps create a more stable surface while supporting improved site conditions.

In addition to erosion control, Tack Lock improves soil structure, allowing for greater water penetration and water holding capacity. This promotes rapid vegetation establishment with deeper roots.

Tack Lock is available in both liquid and granular formulations, giving contractors flexibility based on project needs and application methods.

How Tack Lock Works
Tack Lock rapidly binds soil particles together to help stabilize the soil surface. This helps minimize erosion, decrease runoff turbidity, and reduce soil movement caused by weather or traffic.

Because it helps hold seed, soil, bacteria, nutrients, and fertilizer in place, Tack Lock can also reduce mobilization during rain events.
At the same time, it improves water infiltration into the soil surface and aids in vegetative establishment, helping projects move toward long-term stabilization.

Why Contractors Use Tack Lock
Many projects need more than basic erosion control. They also need reduced dust, lower maintenance, better moisture performance, and practical application.

Tack Lock offers several advantages:

  • Decreases wind and traffic induced dust

  • Decreases watering requirements

  • Improves water holding capacity

  • Supports crop and vegetation yields

  • Naturally derived and biodegradable

  • Effective and affordable

  • Reduces operational and cleanup costs

  • Helps achieve regulatory compliance

This combination makes Tack Lock a practical option for projects focused on efficiency, compliance, and long-term soil management.

Common Applications for Tack Lock
Tack Lock is used across a wide variety of industries and project types where soil stabilization is needed.

Common applications include:

  • Tackifier for hydroseeding

  • Agricultural fibers and landscape mulches

  • Soil stabilizer for dust control

  • Mine operation tailings and spoil piles

  • Linear construction of roads, pipelines, and utility corridors

  • Mass grading projects such as solar farms, wind farms, and housing developments

Its broad range of uses makes it a flexible solution for changing site conditions.
